Why MDF Is Best From Another Wood

Posted by MDF Board  |  at  04:53

Menimum Density Fiberboard (MDF) is a top quality, blend material that works better than timber in many areas. MDF contains an assortment of timber solids, resin, and wax  insured together under great temperature ranges and underhand to create a consistent wood-like product that is far cheaper than wood. MDF is saw dust held together with glue; sort of an excellent quality content that provides as the base for the piece-of-crap furnishings you get from office supply stores or certain shall-not-be-named furnishings stores.

MDF is more constant than real timber and appears up better to changes in moisture. Woods boards typically increase and contract both side to side and top to bottom when temperature ranges and moisture go up and down. Because of this, units, doors and paneling made from real timber require an advanced level of maintenance and care. Unlike real timber, there is no visible feed on the surface of an MDF boards. MDF is readily available in much larger sizes. As the best MDF manufacturer Greepanelmax provides their best MDF products.

MDF and Different Types of Boards

Posted by MDF Board  |  at  03:11

Nowadays wood becomes the essential need of everyone, but traditional wood is so expensive and very hard to maintain so it’s time to move to MDF i.e. Medium Density Fiberboard. Wood based boards are used almost everywhere, there are three main types:-

Particle Boards: For producing particles of numbers of sizes raw materials are processed and then it is bind with the resin binder; chipboard or flexboard are the examples of this type of board.

Laminated Board: -Foe each layer there is a need of different type of wood and then it is glued together giving the wood which increased its rigidity; plywood and blockboard are example of this type of board.

Fiber Boards: Variety of fiberboard is discriminated by the proportion and type of wood fibers used the mode of drying, which kind of bonding substitute is used and which method is used to be shaped when it is pressed.

Medium Density Fiberboard is produced by a dry process at a high temperature and high pressure with the mixture of natural glues and resins contained within the wood are rendered ineffective. Formaldehyde resins are used to bonding to their constituents parts in all fiberboards. MDF therefore uses manufactured bonding agents and resins.

Feature of MDF

  • It is dense and flat
  • Can be easily manufactured, machined and cut
  • It is resourceful
  • It is Eco-friendly for nature
  • It is available in genuine price.

MDF has many advantages than the plank wood, particleboard, or other type of wood product. Its manufacture is uniform and fine and because of this it is very smooth. This create it have low tear out, which measure that when sliced, the end has a flat or smooth cut rather than a craggy edge.

Both softwood and hardwood dusts may cause asthma and other respiratory problems and hardwood dust can also cause a rare form of nasal cancer.

1. It is smooth and dense
Medium density fiberboard provide smooth surface because it is made up of fine particles. MDF can machine easily without damaging its surface.

2. It is versatile
MDF is robust in nature that’s why Builders use it in many applications, like in decorative molding, doors, shelving, laminate and flooring furniture.

3. It is Environmental Friendly

The Truths and Myths about MDF

Posted by MDF Board  |  at  00:12

MDF is a wood compound particle, bonded with a synthetic resin, which is mainly formaldehyde-based and it keep in heat and pressure for making it robust in nature and acts like a natural wood. It is used industrially in furniture and cabinet making. Medium Density Fiberboard is a category of composite wood product.

It is 100% safe once it is used to build up a finished piece of furniture, but when we have to work to cutting piece of the MDF and while we cut this some dust particles is released which are harmful so prevent from this we should Wear a mask.

The major point recognized with MDF is that its manufacturing associates a resin consisting of formaldehyde which is a known toxin and carcinogen in high concentrations. When we cut MDF for building purpose the sawdust and formaldehyde are released. Sawdust and formaldehyde are bad to smell mainly the formaldehyde; so, when the MDF gets cutting then it is advice to cut in the ventilated area or safe working environment. When MDF is machining, it is the peak time when any kind of health risk will takes place.
